SUPERVISED AGRICULTURAL EXPERIENCE
An SAE is an integral part of the three-component model of agricultural education wich is FFA, SAE, and classroom. From the Iowa FFA, SAE is a student-led, instructor-supervised, work-based learning experience that results in measurable outcomes within a predefined, agreed-upon set of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources (AFNR) Technical Standards and Career Ready Practices aligned to your Career Plan of study.
SAE stands for Supervised Agricultural Experience and is required for all students involved in the Interstate 35 FFA Chapter.
SAEs are an all year round project that shows how the member had grown and learned throughout the year with their agriculture project(s). SAEs are made to teach skills that a member can use in their future.
