AGRICULTURAL CLASSES
In order to meet the State Department of Education and National requirements for a CTE (Career Technical Program), all students enrolled in the I-35 Agricultural Science program will maintain a project outside of the classroom time period. Records of the students’ choice will be maintained for the duration of the project.
Examples of projects are: small and or exotic animals, job placement, crops/ horticulture, lawn care, home improvement, mechanical skills, livestock production, etc. Continuation and expansion of these projects can earn students financial stability far beyond graduation and possible recognition at the state and national level in the FFA organization. It is recommended that Agriculture students be members of the I-35 FFA Chapter and
have the opportunity to compete in CDE contests throughout the year.
