Our Story

The FFA is a national youth organization with over 1,000,000 members and 9,235 chapters in all 50 United States, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands. The Future Farmers of America was formed in 1928 as a vocational agriculture training program.  
The FFA mission is to make a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.
The Interstate FFA Chapter is located in Truro, Iowa as part of the South-Central District and Iowa FFA Association.  Our chapter was charted in 1951 and has over 100 members, today.
