HOMECOMING PARADE
Each year to celebrate and join in on the Interstate 35 Homecoming, the chapter organizes a float to showcase in the parade.
SOUTH CENTRAL CDE DAY
The South Central CDE Day is a day full of opportunities to build relationships with other chapters, think critically, communicate clearly, and learn how to compete in a competitive job market through contests.

TRUNK-OR-TREAT
Trunk or Treat is an event that allows the chapter to engage with the community by answering questions, promoting agriculture through a display, and handing out candy to the younger kids.

FRUIT SALES
As a yearly fundraiser, fruit sales is a time where all members can build community involvement, fundraiser, and build communication skills. The funds raised benefit the chapter throughout the year.
NEW VIRGINIA TRUCK PULLS
In order to build community relations, the chapter volunteers in the food stand and works the gates during the New Virginia Truck Pulls which are held twice a year. Chapter members serve community members, engage in conversation, and build financial responsibility.

SWINE JUDGING CONTEST
Iowa Swine does a judging contest for FFA members each year in November. This contest is different from others as there is a keep/cull, exam, and carcass contest. Working through the classes helps our livestock judging team learn valuable skills while practicing for other contests.

WARREN COUNTY FAIR
The Warren Co Fair is one of three local fairs that members of the I-35 chapter participate in. Many members of the chapter exhibit livestock such as goats, chickens, rabbits, and cattle. Members are also recognized at the Warren County Fair for their accomplishments in FFA.

MADISON COUNTY FAIR
The Madison County Fair is another local fair members participate in. Members can be found exhibiting cattle, sheep, goats, rabbits, and horses. Members also spend time volunteering in food stands and participating in the livestock judging contest.

CLARKE COUNTY FAIR
The Clarke County Fair is yet another local fair chapter members participate in. During this week long fair, members exhibit sheep, goats, hogs, cattle, and horses. Members also take part in the livestock judging contest.
TEACHER APPRECIATION BREAKFAST
To show our appreciation for the hard work our school staff gives each year, we cook them breakfast in the spring.

The I-35 FFA Chapter promotes a clean community by participating roadside clean up.

Chapter officers attend COLT to bring back new, innovative ideas to apply to our chapter, enhance leadership skills of chapter office, and grow as a team.

Ag For U Day
The I-35 Chapter hosts Ag for U Day with the elementary ag club. We have a petting zoo, greenhouse station, and a farm safety station. This opportunity introduces elementary students to various animals, allows members to talk about animal and farm safety.

Little Hands on the Fram Volunteers
The I-35 FFA Chapter volunteers to host the Little Hands on the Farm exhibit at the Iowa State Fair, where they engage with youth, teaching them about the various aspects of agriculture and how it impacts our daily lives.
CHAPTER MEETINGS
Many times a year, the chapter gathers together for chapter meetings. During the meetings, events, ideas, and more are shared. The members work together to better our chapter and community.

The I-35 FFA Chapter attended the Farm Progress Show, where they explored the latest advancements in agriculture and networked with industry professionals to expand their knowledge and connections.

DRIVE YOUR TRACTOR TO SCHOOL DAY
Each year as part of the National FFA Week, members can drive their tractor to school. This is a fun event for the members as we celebrate our rural heritage.
FEED THE FARMER
During the Iowa State Fair, members were able to volunteer their time serving food during the Renewable Fuels meeting. While there they were able to learn about renewable fuels and how they impact lives.
Titain Tire Week
The I-35 FFA Chapter opened their facilities to Titan Tire for their annual training, hosting over 200 trainers and providing a space for professional development and networking.

OFFICER RETREAT TRIP
To build leadership and teamwork skills, the chapter officer team spends a few days to a week on a trip. While on the trip, officers work together to build their skills. This year we went to Yellowstone National Park.
POINSETTIA SALES
We provide an outdoor classroom to learn about production agriculture, partnering with local farmers and seed dealers for support. Members care for a field test plot to examine crops and grow as agricultural enthusiasts.

NATIONAL WESTERN STOCKSHOW
Chapter members spend a few days visiting the National Western Stockshow while visiting Denver, Colorado. Members are able to learn about the livestock industry, build relationships, and experience new things.

SOUTH CENTRAL DISTRICTS
As a chapter, we are members of the South Central District. Upon advancement, members are thrilled to advance to district contests where they can showcase their skills.
SUB-DISTRICTS
After months of preparation, members participate in a variety of contests at the sub-district level. Some popular contests include the Greenhand quiz, conduct of meetings, and job interviews.

I-35 FFA members attended the Greenhand Fire Up Camp to develop leadership skills through activities focused on communication, teamwork, and personal growth.
Flower Gram Sales
I-35 FFA members sold roses as a fundraiser, using skills from their horticulture classes to care for and prepare the flowers.

Roadrunner AG Club
I-35 FFA members collaborate with the Roadrunner AG Club, a group of 3rd and 4th graders, to teach them about agriculture. The members work hands-on with the kids, sharing their knowledge and fostering an interest in farming and agricultural practices.
